Moremi Marwa is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange PLC (DSE). He has over

fifteen years of broad experience in financial markets and senior management in multiple organizations including

Barclays Bank, Bank of Africa, Deloitte and Ernst & Young. Moremi serves in the Boards of: Tanzania Revenue

Authority, Bank of Africa Tanzania, Strategis Insurance, Victoria Finance PLC and DSE. He is a Trustee in the Board

of Trustees of the University of Dodoma Endowment Fund; he is also the Acting Chairman of the Grants Committee of

Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences

Moremi plays an active role in the national discussions on fiscal and monetary policy matters he participates in the

Minister of Finance’s Think Tank on Tax Policy Reviews, he facilitates seminars and workshops organized by the

accounting, finance and banking professional bodies. He has recently co-authored books on the topics of national

development and development finance, and he is seasoned columnist with local newspapers and magazines as well

as for his own blog where he writes on financial markets perspectives.

Moremi is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he holds an MBA in Finance and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting,

both from the University of Dar es Salaam. He has recently attended Authentic and Value-based Leadership Programs

at the Harvard Business School and the Aspen Institute, respectively.
